About Partners

Donggubat (동구밭donggubat) is a social enterprise founded by four students from Hongik University to help people with developmental disabilities. The organization brings these young people together to do farm work in a field on the roof. Grow crops with disabled people in the farmland to improve the social skills of disabled people

Twenty of the 32 full-time employees at Donggubat (동구밭donggubat) are disabled. One full-time disabled employee.

(동구밭donggubat) is a social enterprise founded by four students from Hongik University to help people with developmental disabilities. The organization brings these young people together in a field on the roof to do farm work. Planting crops together with the disabled to improve the social skills of the disabled in Dongguchang

  (동구밭 donggubat) 20 out of 32 full-time employees are disabled

The reason for the high proportion of disabled employees is the company’s management principle, which is to hire a full-time disabled employee for every 4 million won ($3,304) increase in monthly sales of the company

Noh says:

"The company started with the goal of providing workplaces for people with disabilities.

So we decided to hire (them) based on sales growth. "

He also said the company plans to increase the number of disabled employees to 30 by the end of the year.
